GENERAL RULES FOR ULTIMATE STREET CLASS
1. All races will be run on a .400 Pro-Tree. Courtesy and 7 sec. staging will be in effect. All cars must stage on their own power. Deep staging is not allowed.
2. Winners of elimination runs must weigh after each round. If scales are passed or the car is underweight, the competitor will be disqualified.
3. Rules of the appropriate sanctioning body (NHRA/IHRA) will be in effect depending on the host track. This includes, but is not limited to, up to date driver’s license, chassis certification, seat belts, etc.
4. There will be a $50.00 contest fee attached to any alleged rule violation. If the violation is founded, the fee will be refunded; otherwise the fee will be forfeited.
5. Rules published on the M.I.R. website are the official rules and are subject to revisions at the discretion of the M.I.R. committee. Any revisions will be posted on the M.I.R. web site within 3 days.
6. All drivers, pit crew and family members will be expected to act in a professional manner. It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that all adhere to this rule. Any violation can result in disqualification, loss of entry fees, and possible banning from future races.
7. A racer may be an entrant in only one class at any given race.
8. Under no circumstances are you to pull to the line without proper safety gear in place. This means EVERYTHING. Gloves, Helmet, jacket, pants, harnesses, etc. This is for your own safety.
9. No infrared "cheating" devices are allowed on ANY car running in M.I.R. This means ANYTHING that hangs from the front of the car in front of the tires, below the front of the car in front of the tires - or any thing that can trip the beams at the end of the track .
